Why is it important to visit Dubai at least once!
It was a perfect evening after having tea with my precious sweet colleagues and gossip about the biggest hassle in its history at my work lot of client queries and last-minute changes. My friends were discussing how they are making plans with their friends for Goa or Rajasthan… Oh, Gosh Miss those “Pre Corona Era” Excuse my wandering mind. It was a complete disappointment to me as I didn’t have any such plans or any friends who are enthusiastic about making plans.
I had a huge excitement about going to Dubai since one of my best friends belongs there. It was the place she used to reside. The Experience she had gone through had prompted me to visit Dubai at least once. At some point, I was even trying to find employment so that I could permanently settle there. So who do I insist to come with me? I called my go-to person who would often pamper my request. My Mum. Like any other parent, she started doubting and tried to avoid the plans to replace it with my cousin’s wedding. But no mother can deny a child’s puppy face requesting something so badly 😛
So the very next week we visited Kesari tours and travels to surf some of the places we can visit in Dubai. The lady was extremely polite to offer us an amazing tour package for Abu Dhabi and Dubai with almost all the important places we can explore with a magnificent huge discount. We instantly got super excited and discussed with dad about its possibilities. Dad replied with the optimistic sentence “Chalo Lets go”
Check a Glimpse of my journey before you go ahead

After the booking, I was very eager for our holidays to start. When the day finally arrived I woke up almost 2.5 hours before the leaving time. We headed for the airport with our guide waiting at the arrival gate for everyone with a board mentioning Kesari’s name. The Boarding formalities got complete and we started our journey.

After a marvelous 3 hours flight journey, We landed at Abu Dhabi International Airport the first-ever destination to visit was the ‘Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Abu Dhabi’. We were requested to change into the instructed wears (Full sleeves shirt for guys and A scarf for ladies).
Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque
When we entered the mosque it was the most fantastic structure ever to come in my visual. The White walls and pond near the entrances. The Discipline well managed by the visitors.

My work stress was instantly swallowed by the Holy presence inside the structure. With positivity consuming the mind and the spirit
The next destination was ‘The Ferrari world’ where I could experience the speed of the luxurious car ever made!

The Ferrari World was about 4 K.M away from our hotel rooms and we had to wake up 2 hours before our travel from the arranged bus to our destination. When we arrived the guide went to the booking counter to collect the passes. I met one of our fellow tourists Mr. Varad Deshpande and became a very close friend. Post exploring the shops outside we entered the park and the sound of the High-Speed Rollercoasters just hit my ear to draw my attention to the first ride.

Uffff… When I recollect the first ride I held the belt so tight that my hands turned red after the ride the speed of it caused my ears to echo!

After the “Swooossssh woooossssh” Ride at the park. We headed back to our hotel because the next thing to do on the bucket list was to visit Dubai.
The Dream Destination

3 hours it took for me to reach Dubai and as soon as I reached the boundaries of the city the first shot of the Burj Khalifa left me spooked!
Entering the history
Dubai Museum was the first destination on my list in Dubai on the very day we had to attend the Burj Al Arab hotel as well.

After I entered the museum I saw various artifacts and sculptures giving a gist of the Arab culture and its history. The paintings “told” me that Dubai had a very immense story right from the Prince meetings to the wealth of the nation.
I can show you few of the artifacts from the interiors of it.

My Mom was extremely happy to explore a different culture with that of India.
The Burj Al Arab
There’s a famous saying “If you have a photo next to the hotel Burj Al Arab of Dubai” it is worthy of a profile photo it is the ultimate proof of your existence in Dubai”.
I was concerned whether we will able to spend much time on the beach as it was the month of April which causes extreme heat in the atmosphere of the vast city. Thankfully God had mercy on us and had decided to let us enjoy the time at the beach of the Al Arab. The Weather was cloudy and cold!
During the bus ride i took few shots of the great city which i want to share with you

Upon reaching the beach I was fascinated like a 10-year-old kid by the breeze of the sea and the sandcastle built by children.
The first challenge for me was to take a very good picture in Infront of the hotel to “Prove” I was in Dubai. It would give away a great display picture for Facebook. I told my dad to take a picture and as they say when you ask your folks to take a picture they screw it up! Luckily I found Varad around he took the best picture I had ever dreamt about PS – Dude’s a professional photographer!

Even after 2 years, I haven’t changed the profile picture it just reminds me about the last ever trip I had with my family before the world gets diagnosed with COVID.
The Hotel instantly made me fall in love with it. If given more time and another pair of clothes I might even have to take a dive in the clean waters of the sea.

The Palm of the new year
I’m sure you have seen the movie Happy New year of SRK’s so you will be quite familiar with Atlantis the Palm.

The next day we traveled and experienced the metro railways of Dubai which would be connected directly to the palm. While on the metro the cameras of people turned to the beautiful structure lying ahead.
The hotel was a massive structure in the center of Dubai and was known as one of the costliest hotels in the city.
We were aware of what’s to come next the Big building which was indeed the largest skyscraper in the world. The Burj Khalifa!
The Burj

The most powerful destination and the heart of Dubai were right Infront of my eyes from a close view. A structure is so humongous that your neck might just hurt looking above.
As I entered the Dubai mall, My Mom being a huge fan of shopping was craving to buy things but since we had to arrive by the destined time we directly headed for the elevator. The most fantastic part about it was my dad’s birthday! We were about to go on top of the tallest building to witness the city from the edge of the sky and that proved to be the perfect present for dad.
Now there are two ways to get to the top floor either the elevator or the stairs and the former would be the best option… Just joking…
The elevator in the span of 40 seconds brought us to the top floor and I witnessed how Godzilla would finally view the city and the people of it.

I had the privilege of clicking the lot many pictures on the sky deck of the building

My heart wasn’t ready to let go of the view and get back down, But the ice-cream treat from the tour company melted my heart and finally convinced me to let go.

After visiting the top of the world it was time to explore the creatures of the depth of the sea.
The Aquarium
Once we reached the Aquarium. The sight fascinated my parents and I had the privilege of witnesses a shark prey on its meal for the first time in my life. It was their feeding time and the way the shark sunk its sharp teeth into the meat almost horrified me.
I’ll show you the amazing creatures which want to meet you.

I had a great time with these aquatic creatures and I have a lot of pictures with me. Maybe will show you some other time.
Moving on.. I had to wear the traditional wear of the Arab and ride a camel in the dessert Safari.
The Safari of the dessert

The next travel destination was the most awaited in the Dubai Trip and to face the dessert is what I was most excited about!
On our way to the entrance we were greeted by a camel. Hell yes! He was cute..
The ocean of sand was right Infront of us and our destination was a club deep inside the dessert. We had a strict word of caution “The Car ride inside the dessert could be like a rollercoaster, Puking inside the car would cost you a fortune”
Haha! The warnings were true. As we started our vehicles through the mountains of sand and the driver constantly telling us to wear our seatbelts and hold on to something. I quickly held the door handle as the car was speeding as if drunk.
After a lot of kicks and a hell of a ride we reached the club where we were entitled to the gifts which was a camel ride, A Dance show, Amazingly delicious food, The traditional wear photography, And Oh yes a tiny Cat awaiting to be friendly with the tourists!
Take a glimpse of it…

While returning the Limo was waiting for us with the length of the mighty car fascinating every single person around.

The Miracle Garden
We were informed at the time of booking the tour that the Garden might be shut due to the shutting months but the luck seriously was on my side this summer. The Miracle Garden was opened for the last 5 days before shutting down due to the offseason.
The Garden had the most mesmerizing plants and sights I have ever seen before. It seriously cost me entire photo memory of my phone. I want to share it with you!

If I keep showing you I might even book a flight right now and head off to see the park again. I’m tempted!!
The River ride in the middle of the city
As we came near to the end of the Trip with the final two destinations to check out. I had a marvelous sight indicating me to start a poll on Insta if it’s beautiful or Ultimately beautiful!
The river lines took us from the city to have a complete view of the nightlife and also I took control of the wheel!

As the city lights reflected in the waters I had a fun time with my phone clicking a lot of pictures as well as one part where I asked the boat manager about the WiFi password. He told me “There is no WiFi here, People come to relax and get their minds out of the busy schedule and as well as the social media prison”
I realized we are so much into our social lives that the image of us on the media is who we have become rather than what we actually are! This ride didn’t just give me fun but also a realization that the use of social media should be reduced to a minimum level so that life can be enjoyed equally!
The final destination – The Bollywood Park

The last destination of the tour was here after a day of rest and I was totally not ready to end the vacations and go back to work. But I wished to enjoy the destination equally. The entrance of the park gave me a typical sense of Bollywood as if I’m visiting the sets of the films which were displayed there including the Om Shanti Om Villa.
Varad and I were constantly roaming around the park to check out the rides which I completely avoided at this point due to the experience at the Ferrari world. We found few precious water rides which had a long waiting queue but it was worth the wait!
The whole park had so many quotes and places from Bollywood films which couldn’t be missed and along came a wonderful lunch of barbeques!

As the day came to an end we had a brief feedback session with all the tourists and I was Hella emotional to let go of such a beautiful experience and head back to Bombay. We had our departure flight the very same day at 2 am so we finished our meals and entered the bus to reach the airport. On the bus, nobody spoke a word having mixed emotions of enjoying the time with their loved ones but also going back to their Normal lives. I had a feeling that everything’s going to change once I land back in Mumbai with huge goals in my mind. Very little I knew that in the same year a virus emerging from China would paralyze the whole world and I have to wait for many years to start a journey again.
